'I want her to come home' - mom of 'kidnapped' teen

Johannesburg - Sixteen-year-old Lizel Molefe, a pupil at Queens High School in Kensington, was allegedly kidnapped in Lombardy East on Tuesday morning. 

According to a flyer, Lizel was waiting to be picked up for school when her parents saw her being pushed into a blue car at around 07:00. 

"I miss my daughter and I want her to come home. I want her to know that we love her very much," Lizel's mother Lynly Molefe told News24. 

An emotional Molefe said Lizel was a normal teenager who wanted to become a criminologist after school.

She said Lizel was very active and enjoyed playing sports.

"Lizel was very good in netball and athletics and she played a bit of soccer too," she said.

Lizel was last seen wearing a green skirt, white shirt, grey jersey and black shoes.  

Police could not be immediately reached for comment.
