From "I'll be there for you" to "I'm Not Your Friend" — actor Matt LeBlanc has secured a pilot for a new series, the title of which takes a light-hearted dig at his Friends legacy. The new comedy comes from That '70s Show writers Jeff and Jackie Filgo and follows a contractor who discovers that raising kids is more challenging than he thought after his wife goes back to work.

Entertainment Weekly reports that the former Friends star and newly minted Top Gear host has secured a pilot order with a series commitment for I'm Not Your Friend at CBS. According to Deadline, the new sitcom — which would come with a 13-episode guarantee —may host its own mini Friends reunion. LeBlanc's interest in the project has attracted the attention of legendary TV director James Burrows, who directed 15 episodes of Friends — including the pilot — and is the reason the cast recently re-united for an NBC special.

If all goes according to plan, I'm Not Your Friend would premiere in the fall of 2016. Meanwhile, LeBlanc's Showtime/BBC Two sitcom Episodes will air its fifth season this year. He will assume Top Gear duties when the show returns to BBC and BBC America in May.

This new development also fuels rumours that LeBlanc's Episodes might be coming to an end. Though no official finale date has been announced, it would be pretty impossible for LeBlanc to handle starring in three shows simultaneously. After all, it's not Joey juggling his multiple dates anymore.
