Mumbai: Abhishek Bachchan ringed in his 40th birthday at Maldives with his entire family. Abhishek has been hosting star-studded birthday bashes at his parents’ Juhu bungalow over the years, but this time it was a private family affair.

We saw several pictures of the Bachchan's sailing away on their fun trip. Here's another picture we found from their vacation in Maldives. Little Aaradhya is posing with mom Aishwarya and Shweta Nanda. The Bachchan ladies looked gorgeous in their summer outfits.

Amitabh Bachchan posted another picture with Abhishek and Shweta on his blog and wrote, "Family is such a joy .. a companionship a friendship a confidanté a part of your limbs .. they shall carry the legacy forward .. much as we did with our parents .. we give them our all .. work and live for them .. to make their lives fruitful and pleasant after we are gone .."
