Veteran filmmaker Arabinda Mukherjee passes away

Kolkata, Feb 10 (UNI) Movie maker Arabinda Mukherjee, who wrote the screenplayof Rajesh Khanna and Sharmila Tagore starer 'Amar Prem', died today at his home here owning to age related ailments.
Maker of 'Agniswar', 'Mouchak' and 'Nishi Padma', all of which starred matinee idol Uttam Kumar, Arabinda Mukehrjee was 97.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Tollywood condoled the death of the celebrated filmmaker."Saddened to hear veteran director Arabinda Mukherjee's passing away, " Ms Banerjee said."We will remember him through his films. Condolences to his family & friends, She added.'
