Kerry Katona would feel "disappointed" and "let down" if her kids followed in her footsteps into showbusiness.

The Atomic Kitten singer - who has five kids from three different marriages - is hoping she brought her kids up well enough to avoid the industry after her rollercoaster career in the public eye, which has seen her go bankrupt twice as well as win reality show 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'.

When asked how she would feel if her kids followed her into showbiz, Kerry replied: "I think I've scared the s**t out of my kids so much that they'll never do anything like that.

"I hope I brought them up better. I'd be so disappointed and let down if, knowing what I've been through, which they do, they went in that direction.

"But they're not followers, they're leaders, so they won't be pressured into anything."

Kerry - who has daughters Molly, 14, and Lilly-Sue, 13, with ex-husband Brian McFadden; Heidi, eight and Max, seven with second ex Mark Croft; and 22-month-old DJ with estranged husband George Kay - doesn't envisage her luck changing much in the future.

She said: "If you don't laugh at yourself you'll end up in tears!

"I guarantee there'll be more woes and more bumps in the road ahead.

"I'm sure in another 10 years I'll meet another d***head, I'll make the same mistakes again, I'll pop out about 50-odd kids and do another magazine shoot at the wedding."

Kerry split from third husband George Kay last year and has vowed to never introduce her five children to another boyfriend again.

She added to Star magazine: "I'll never introduce anybody to my kids again, the way I feel right now."
