Union has made two additions to its executive team, promoting a pair of staffers to VP roles leading innovation and integrated production at the agency.

Keefe Lee has been promoted to VP of innovation, managing user experiences and product development teams as well as providing support for innovation.

Lee joined Union in 2014 as director of strategic planning when his previous agency, Trapeze Media, was merged with Union by holding company MDC. Lee had been with Trapeze for more than four years at that time, last holding the VP of strategy role . He has co-led planning at Union with Michelle Campbell since July, when she joined the agency from The&Partnership. Campbell will now take full leadership of the planning team following Lee’s promotion.

Though Lee is taking on a new position within the agency, many of his duties would have previously fallen under the purview of former executive director of innovation Mike Kasprow, who left Union in August for Proximity Canada.

Additionally, Jen Dark has been named the agency’s VP of integrated production. Previously director of integrated production, her new position will see her continue to lead the department, while also taking a spot on Union’s executive team.

Dark has been with Union in some form or another since 2006. She stayed with what was then known as Zig when it merged with CP+B to become CP+B Canada in 2010, and again when CP+B Canada dissolved in 2012 and Union was launched in its place.

Aside from the latest additions, Union’s executive team is currently comprised of president Subtej Nijjar, ECD Lance Martin, CFO Boni Griffith and managing director of the agency’s Montreal office Martin Bélanger.

The agency recently debuted its first work for Partnership for a Drug-Free Canada after picking up the account in October, and was also tapped to lead the first campaign for EQ Bank.
