Andhra Pradesh Non-Gazetted Officers’ Association has geared up for its prestigious 19th State Council meet to be held in Sivani College, Etcherla, on February 12 and 13 in which 5,000 delegates from all the 13 districts would participate and discuss the issues of employees.

Collector P. Lakshmi Narasimham, Superintendent of Police A.S. Khan and other senior officials reviewed the arrangements as Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is slated to participate in the inaugural session on February 12.

The officials interacted with APNGOs State Associate president Chowdary Purushottam Naidu and APNGOs Srikakulam wing president Hanumanthu Sairam and secretary R.V.N. Sarma over the preparedness of the programme.

The officials suggested changes in dais sitting and barricading to avoid untoward incidents during Chief Minister’s visit. Meanwhile, the association leaders led by Mr. R.V.N. Sarma conducted a bike rally in Srikakulam to create awareness among the employees about the importance of Council meet.

The association decided to minimize the usage of plastic in the Council meet. Arrangements are being made to depict the culture, tradition and food habits of Srikakulam people during the two-day event.
