This March, wrestling to take Ludhiana by storm

Ludhiana: Dalip Singh Rana, who is better known as the former WWE superstar The Great Khali, is going to be part of a wrestling event to be organized at Guru Nanak Stadium here on March 5.
Rana made this announcement at a press conference at the Circuit House here on Tuesday afternoon. "I am going to make a comeback with this after a long break. I will be fighting here with international wrestlers," he said.
For long, Khali has not competed in entertainment wrestling, and has instead forayed into Bollywood and Hollywood movies. When asked behind the reason for making a comeback and opening wrestling academies, he said, "Everything was perfect there in the US. I am earning well and enjoying doing movies. But I realized that I belong to this country. This is my mother land and now I want to do something for my country in return."
Further, while explaining about his wrestling academy in Jalandhar and the plan to open four more in the state, he said, "I want to promote wrestling. In India, I know, youngsters are crazy for wrestling but it is not an easy task. Going to America, fighting in WWE, matching their level; it was not at all easy. I don't want these youngsters to face the difficulties I did."
He said so far three students of his academy in Jalandhar were competing in the WWE, and four others had been selected for the same. Khali said he was excited for the event in Ludhiana. "This is the first time that a professional wrestling show is being organized in Punjab. I give an open challenge to all international wrestlers to come and fight me," he said.
According to the information, as many as 10 men and four women wrestlers from abroad will be participating in the 'Pro Wrestling Show' at Ludhiana.
