MUMBAI: Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis has personally invited Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray for the Make In India summit. The week-long summit begins in Mumbai on February 8.
The chief minister’s office (CMO) said the invitation was extended to Thackeray by the chief minister eight days ago. The CMO, however, could not confirm whether Fadnavis paid a personal visit to Thackeray to invite him for the programme or extended the invitation over the phone.
Thackeray is expected to attend the Maharashtra Innovates session on February 14.
