Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Feb 9 2016 7:35PM Dowry harassment accused sentencedHyderabad, Feb 9 (UNI) The XIII Addition Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Nampally yesterday sentenced M T Srinivasa Rao to undergo two years simple imprisonment and fined Rs 10,000 in a dowry harassment case. The accused Srinivasa Rao got married Ms M. Bhargavi on December 5, 1997 at Guntur. At the time of marriage he was given Rs. 1.25 as dowry. After some time they shifted to Hyderabad from Guntur. Under instigation of his parents he started harassing his wife mentally and physically for additional dowry. Later on April 20, 2001, the accused along with his parents driven out her from the house. Basing on the complaint given by his wife ms Bhargavi, a case has been registered at Malakpet police station. During the trail of this Bhargavi took all efforts and interest not only briefing the witnesses but also exhibited her talent to present the case very effectively in the court during the trail.
