No water supply for 24 hours in some areas today

Due to the preventive maintenance work taken up as part of the Krishna Drinking Water Supply Project phase-III, the Hyderabad Water Board has informed there will be no water supply in some areas today. The areas affected are Charlapally, BITS, ECIL, Sainikpuri, A.S. Rao Nagar, Central Prison, MES, Cantonment, ICICI Knowledge park, Turkapally, Lalapet, Tarnaka, Nacharam Industrial Area, Moula Ali, Gayathri Nagar, Sainathpuram, Gokulnagar, entire area of Defence colony, Sainikpuri, R.K. Puram, entire area of Malkajgiri, Mirjalguda, Safilguda, Anandbagh, Goutham Nagar area, entire Old and New Alwal areas and Lothukunta and father Balaiah Colony, Housing board colony, Kailasgiri reservoir areas, Nacharam, Mallapur, Prashasan Nagar reservoir areas, Gachibowli, Film Nagar, Madhapur, Kukatpally, Housing Board, HUDA Chandanagar, B.N. Reddy Nagar, L.B. Nagar, Auto Nagar, Vanasthalipuram, Saroor Nagar, Alkapuri, Dilsuknagar, R.G.K. Bandlaguda, Uppal, Beerappagadda, Mailardevpally, Madhuban, PDP, Hyderguda, Rajenderanagar, Upperpally, Suleman Nagar, M.M. Pahadi, Attapur, Chintelmet, Mehidipatam, Karwan, Langer Houz, Kakatiya Nagar, Humayan Nagar, Talagadda, Asif Nagar, MES, Ganddamguda, Shaikpet, OU Colony, Tolichowki, Mallepally, Vijay Nagar Colony, Red Hills, Old MLA Quarters, Nampally, Masab Tank, Lakdikapool, Secretariat, Ziaguda, Allahbanda and Ghode-ki-Khabar. The water board informed that aletrnative arangements were being made to depute water tankers in some areas.
