TomTom Q4 Net Results Up; Sees 10% Growth In FY Adj. EPS

Dutch navigation and mapping products maker TomTom NV (TMOAF.PK) reported that its net result for the fourth-quarter was €21 million compared with €0.5 million in the prior year quarter. The net result adjusted for acquisition-related amortisation & gain on a post-tax basis and the remeasurement of our deferred tax liability was €23 million compared with €10 million in the prior year.

Adjusted earnings per share for the quarter was €0.10 versus €0.04 in the previous year.

It generated revenue of €282 million in the fourth quarter, an increase of 9% compared with €258 million in the prior year.It saw growth coming through across all four business units in the quarter.

In 2016, the company plans for revenue to grow to around €1.050 billion. Adjusted EPS is expected to grow by around 10% to €0.23.

The company expects the level of investment (both CAPEX and OPEX) in our core technologies to be higher than last year. In particular, it is investing in advanced content and software for the automotive industry (e.g. to enable Autonomous Driving) and in its new map-making platform.
