Maggie Lawson, left, and Jane Lynch star in the first-season CBS comedy, 'Angel From Hell.'

Salvation appears unattainable for Angel From Hell.

CBS Monday pulled the first-season Jane Lynch comedy from its Thursday time slot, replacing it this week with a Big Bang Theory episode and then with new episodes of 2 Broke Girls starting Feb. 18. The move appears to spell cancellation for Angel.

Angel features Lynch as Amy, a colorful, eccentric woman who claims to be the guardian angel for Allison (Maggie Lawson), a dermatologist with a much more orderly life and personality.
