Two-day sporting extravaganza gets wide response

Ace squash player Dipika Pallikal and actor Ranveer Singh were the star attractions of the two-day Mumbai leg of Adidas Uprising, a series of sporting events, that concluded on Sunday.

Dipika interacted with participants and encouraged them while Ranveer was a surprise visitor to the training session hosted at iThink Fitness, where he worked out with participants.

More than 20,000 participants turned out in basketball, cricket, football, rugby, volleyball, badminton, tennis, training, yoga, zumba, skateboarding, squash, cycling and running across the city.
