Navig8 says a Laurin Maritime vessel has become the latest to join its Chronos8 medium-range (MR) tanker pool.
The operator says the ship involved is the 46,100-dwt Cavatina (built 2010), which Sweden’s Laurin has owned since 2009.
Navig8’s MR pool employs vessels ranging in size from 44,000 dwt to 54,000 dwt.
There are eight ships committed to the pool, which charges a fee of 2% plus $250 per day.
