Man arrested with charas

The police today arrested a resident of Dalhousie at Sanot village and recovered 42.5 gm of charas from his possession.

Ashok Verma, Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Kangra, said Shiv Kumar Thapa was found moving under suspicious condition at Sanot village when he was on his way to Dehra from Jawalamukhi this afternoon.

He said a police patrol party found his movements suspicious and during search recovered 42.5 gm of charas from his possession and arrested him under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
