CIA team nabs wanted criminal

Panchkula: Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) staff arrested a wanted criminal from Chandimandir on Monday who was booked on charges of murder and under arms Act. According to cops, accused Ashok alias Ashoki, 25, a resident of Patel Nagar, Narwana (Jind) was arrested with a country-made pistol along with two live cartridges.
Cops said that in an initial interrogation, it was found that Ashok was booked under six FIRs between 2012-15 including murder and arms Act in police station of Narwana.Staff of CIA said that he was wanted in FIR registered in Narwana police station on October 28, 2015, where he was booked under sections 302 (punishment for murder) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of IPC and sections 25, 54, 59 of the arms Act. The accused was taken to the district court which sent him to four-day police remand.
