RJD chief vows to unseat NaMo

Madhubani: RJD boss Lalu Prasad on Monday said he would not take rest before ousting Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the seat of power.
"NaMo has no quality to become Prime Minister. I shall have no rest until he is unseated from the throne of Hastinapur (Delhi)," said Lalu at an election rally at Shaharghat in favour of Grand Alliance's nominee Mohammad Shabbir of Congress.
Byelection for Harlakhi assembly seat in Benipatti subdivision of the district is scheduled on February 13.
Branding Modi and his BJP anti-poor, Lalu claimed that RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat was their 'guru' who wanted to divide the country on communal lines. They grabbed power by playing fraud with the people of this country by promising them 'moon', but Modi now stands exposed, he added.
Cautioning people not to be misled by false propaganda of the saffron brigade, Lalu urged the audience to vote overwhelmingly in favour of the alliance candidate. The bypoll was necessitated due to the death of RLSP's Basant Kumar who died a day before taking oath as MLA. The NDA has fielded his son Sudhanshu Kumar.
Taking credit for stopping Modi's victory rath in Bihar, as he had done with L K Advani's rath yatra, Lalu said the defeat in Bihar has shattered BJP's dream of grabbing power in other election-bound states like West Bengal, Assam and Punjab. Important among others who addressed the rally included state Congress president and education minister Ashok Chaudhary, revenue minister Madan Mohan Jha, Congress general secretary Dr Shakeel Ahmad and former RJD MP Mangani Lal Mandal.
