'Castle' Season 8 Episode 9 Spoilers: Casket Delve Into Competitive A Capella

After its rather lengthy holiday hiatus, ABC's hit police procedural drama TV series "Castle" is finally returning for the second half of its Season 8 with a brand new episode this week.

According to spoiler reports, the upcoming airing of the TV program will highlight the reunion of the protagonists Rick (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic) after their relationship got complicated during the first half.

A sneak peek shared over at Entertainment Weekly shows that the "estranged" couple wants to keep their "broken up" cover for the public. However, the two couldn't restrain themselves from the longing they have for each other.

In the clip, the duo can be seen sneaking off for some lunch break action. For Beckett, it's better to keep this secret to themselves for the moment. At least Castle now knows what's happening and has the opportunity to be with her unlike what happened in the first half of the season where he didn't know what was going on.

Working for the 12th precinct means they have to deal with another case. According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for the episode called "Tone Death," Castle and Beckett will get wind of information about a body that was found inside the theater of Martha's (Susan Sullivan) latest show.

Their investigation will lead them deeper down the rabbit hole where they unexpectedly get tangled up in the dangerous world of competitive a capella.

Previous reports have indicated that the upcoming episode will feature the talent of "High School Musical" star Corbin Bleu. The latter is expected to showcase a singing performance. Will the newcomer be somehow involved in the murder?

"Castle" Season 8B, which premieres this Monday, Feb. 8 at 10 p.m. on ABC, will also feature the acts of Jon Huertas as Javier Esposito, Molly Quinn as Alexis Castle, Seamus Dever as Kevin Ryan, and Toks Olagundoye as Hayley Shipton, just to name a few.

Stay tuned for more updates.
