After Paris attack anti-Muslim sentiments have become more common and more blatant recently. After the attacks lot of people of pother faiths are thinking that Islam is more inherently violent.

The pair chose specific Biblical passages that are far out of touch with modern Western culture, and they read them out loud to passers-by, pretending it to be from the Quran.

The lines were: “If you do not obey Me, but act with hostility against Me … you will eat the flesh of your sons and the flesh of your daughters.” (Leviticus ch 26), and “If a man lies with a male … they shall surely be put to death.” (Leviticus ch 20)

Listening to which, People said the readings were “aggressive,” while they described the Bible as “more peaceful” and “positive.” The shock was palpable when they found out the verses they had just heard were actually part of the Christian holy text.

Realizing it was from Bible a person said, “Of course I’ve heard Bible stories when I was young, and I went to a Christian school, but I really had no idea this are from Bibles.”

If you read the Bible front and back, you will read about several ideas that frankly don’t mesh with modern Western standards. You could do the same with the Quran or the Torah. But you can also find overwhelming messages of peace and love from all three faiths’ scriptures.
