An image of the HTC One M10 has gotten leaked online, giving the world its first good look at the brand’s upcoming flagship. Recent reports had alleged that the smartphone is not making its debut at the MWC 2016. It will instead be launched at a dedicated event on a later date.
Based on the photo, the HTC One M10 looks very similar to the design language of the One A9. It sports a large camera sensor on its front panel and a textured power button on its right, alongside a volume rocker. There’s a home button underneath the display which will likely do double duty as a fingerprint sensor.
In what could cause considerable distress to HTC BoomSound fans, there doesn’t appear to be a second speaker unit on the front surface of the device. This had been hinted at earlier through Evan Blass via his report at VentureBeat and has been further corroborated thanks to this new hand-on image which he posted online using his Twitter handle.
According to the article, the One M10 goes by Perfume as it codename and will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It’ll be the first international HTC offering to display its visuals in QHD quality on a 5.1-inch AMOLED screen. Under the covers, the phone is set to offer users the power of Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with an Adreno 530 GPU.

This setup is being helped along by 32GB of internal space and 4GB of RAM. As for the imaging specs of the One M10, the company is allegedly supplying it with a 12MP main UltraPixel snapper which will be outfitted with laser autofocus. Both the front and rear camera might ship with optical image stabilization.
The report cautions that the HTC One M10 is in development and its appearance could still be modified. There’s no way of knowing whether the new photo is the final look it’ll feature or just a temporary design. We’ll report back once things are more certain.
