Single X: The first look of Ram Gopal Varma's erotic thriller is NSFW!

Here is something you don't see everyday. Ram Gopal Varma can be really eccentric and enigmatic at times. He is infamous for his obsession with veteran actress Sridevi. Still he has given some memorable movies to Indian cinema and after having a bad stint in direction for years, he finally tasted success with Killing Veerappan. RGV has unveiled the first look of his upcoming short film, Single X. The director is debuting into the short film world with this erotic thriller. Or so he claims. He did make a short film previously on Lakshmi Manchu's feet. The first look sure sticks to the erotic genre. It is really a bold statement by the director to release such a racy poster in a country where such things are still a big taboo to be depicted onscreen. The poster is pretty simple with the backdrop of a normal restroom. Of course all that becomes insignificant when you see the scantily clad woman. Single X first look features a woman whose face is turned away but whose backside is revealed in all it's glory. This lady is clad in just a white t-shirt and a red underwear which reveal her assets. RGV leaves very little to imagination with this completely eye popping pic. Moreover, the director shared the poster openly on his Twitter handle. While his attempt to release such a bold poster is surely commendable, one has to wonder if this will not create some new controversy.
