Hyderabad MIM Member of Parliament Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday surrendered before the south zone police in Telangana Congress Chief attack case. The police produced him before the 8th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate upon which he was granted bail.
On February 2 during the GHMC elections Hyderabad MP along with his followers allegedly attacked Uttam Kumar Reddy Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee Chief and Shabbir Ali Leader of opposition (Legislative Council) infront of Mirchowk Police station.
The police registered a case against the MP and his followers under section 143,341,427,506,188 and 109 IPC. Later the police arrested Syed Abdhau Quadri aka Kashaf (Social Media Incharge of MIM party) Mohammed Masihuddin, Misbahuddin Khan Abid and others.
Asad Owaisi this morning surrendered himself before the DCP South Zone upon which he was formally arrested by the Mirchowk police,later he was shifted to Osmania Hospital for check up. He was produced before the Nampally court upon which the court granted bail and directed him to furnish two sureties of 5000/- each. The Police ,made elaborate security arrangements in the court premises.
