Why is make-up a hard sell in India?

India is a country where women traditionally rarely wear make-up.

But that is now changing, particularly in the major cities. Domestic brands have grown fast and a number of foreign cosmetics firms are expanding too - including Sephora, a company owned by the French luxury goods brand, Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH).

The BBC's Yogita Limaye met Sephora's India chief executive Vivek Bali and began by asking him why the Indian market looks promising.
