Fans vent fury at Phil Jones after Munich air disaster Twitter gaffe

Manchester United defender Phil Jones has incurred the wrath of many of the club's supporters after he posted a tribute on social media to those who died in the Munich air disaster which contained personal branding advertisements.

Yesterday marked the 58th anniversary of the plane crash which claimed the lives of 20 people, including eight Manchester United players, some of whom were affectionately known as the 'Busby Babes'. The aircraft also contained fans and journalists who were travelling home with United following a European Cup game with Red Star Belgrade.

As so many did yesterday, Jones took to Twitter to pay his respects, but his posting contained emblems for among other things, his Facebook and Instagram accounts.

Subsequently, he received some vehement responses from a great deal of the clubs fans. See below:
