Luca Brecel to face Martin Gould in German Masters final - LIVE on Eurosport

Martin Gould reached the third ranking event final of his career as he hammered former world champion Graeme Dott 6-2 at the German Masters in Berlin.

Gould came into the match clearly full of confidence having pulled off a surprise 5-4 win over world number five Judd Trump in the quarter-finals.
And he quickly took charge of the match, coming out on top of each of the first three frames - despite both players having chances - and then stepping in with a break of 87 to claim the fourth after Dott had got off to a start with 32.
4-0 down at the mid-session interval, Dott returned to the table in desperate need of something to get him going, and he took a scrappy fifth frame to get on the board.
Gould re-established his four-frame cushion with a decisive 53 in the next, only for Dott to pull another back.
But a low-scoring eighth frame would decide the match, Gould coming out on top of the safety exchanges before clinching it on the colours 44-35 and securing a spot in the final.
"The first four frames I feel like I didn't do an awful lot wrong, and Graeme seemed to struggle," said Gould.
"He didn't seem quite at the races at the beginning, and thankfully I was on the ball to punish him for the mistakes."

Gould will play Luca Brecel of Belgium in Sunday's final after Brecel overcame Kyren Wilson 6-3 in the other semi-final on Saturday night.
“It feels unbelievable to reach my first ranking final, especially to do it here because it’s a great venue,” said Brecel, 20, who reached his first major final since winning the European under-19 title at the age of 14.
I was a bit nervous before the match tonight, but then when it started I felt very comfortable. I went 3-0 up but then started missing a few balls and the game changed. I was just happy to get over the line in the end because Kyren is very dangerous.
"I got lucky when he got a kick on the yellow. I haven’t played that well this week but now I’m in the final and hopefully I can play better tomorrow.
“I have been very consistent over the past year and gained more experience. When I was 16 or 17 I expected a lot, and when it didn’t happen it was frustrating. As you get older you realise it doesn’t happen easily.
“It’s an honour to be the first Belgian player to reach a final and hopefully now in my country other people will be motivated to play snooker and we can have a bright future.”
