Keshod Mahila Suraksha Samiti organized a rally against Dhari MLA Nalin Kotadia for his remarks against the first woman Chief Minister of Gujarat.
Kotadia had in his speech in Patidar sammelanat Ajab near Keshod called Chief Minister ‘neech naa pet ni’ – the statement so objectionable that it was censored by print and TV media in coverage.
Kotadia has earlier given controversial statement issuing appeal to villagers around Gir to kill lions. Elected on Keshubhai Patel led now defunct ‘Gujarat Parivartan Party(GPP)’ Kotadia came closer to BJP after merger of GPP with BJP, however in recent months BJP has distanced itself from Kotadia following his open support to violent, divisive, casteist and vicious Patidar agitation.
Kotadia is one of the leading face of ongoing Patidar agitation that has caused deaths of at least 10 persons and resulted into crores of Rupees of loss to state exchequer.
In another development, a group of casteist hooligans from Patidar community changed the name of new flyover recently opened by Chief Minister in Surat city to Patidar over bridge. They remove the plaque of ‘Savji Korat bridge’ and wrote down ‘Patidar bridge’ on wall.
