PMO urges district administration to focus on Soren probe

Bokaro: The district administration is focusing on an inquiry being conducted against former chief minister Hemant Soren by special investigation team (SIT), in connection to his alleged purchasing of lands in several parts of the state including Bokaro, after it received a letter from Prime Minister Office (PMO).
DC Rai Mahimapat Ray has been asked by the PMO to cooperate with the Special Investigation Team which is investigating into the land purchase by Soren, by providing details related to the land."I have asked the sub-register to provide the necessary information related to the land following a letter from the PMO," said Ray.
The issue was raised by a resident of Chas, Indranil Sinha who had complained to the state government that Soren had bought land in the name of his relatives and friends in several districts of the state. Sinha had also has sent a copy to PMO about the matter.
