Ravana's Abduction of Sita
- 2. Ravana went to Maricha to ask for help on how he could have Sita.
- 3. But Ravana did not easily convinced Maricha. Later on, Maricha agreed to help Ravana in the abduction of Sita.
- 5. The golden deer attracted Sita . Sita requested Rama to get the golden deer for her. But Lakshmana warned that the golden deer may be a demon in disguise.
- 6. Rama chased the deer, and shot an arrow which hit the deer and Maricha was exposed.
- 8. Sita asked Laksmana to follow Rama, so Lakshmana decided to put Sita inside a circle where she could be safe with the grace of God.
- 9. Ravana asked for alms to Sita in a disguised of a hermit.
- 10. Why did you left Sita alone?
- 11. Jatayu who’s in pain and dying told what happened and to where Ravana and Sita headed.
- 13. Hanuman, a close friend of Sugriva find out the identity of Rama and Lakshamana. The two touched Hanuman with their stories, and soon Hanuman took the two to Sugriva.
- 16. Rama gave his ring to Hanuman so this will prove that Hanuman is a messenger sent by Rama.
- 17. Hanuman is the only one who could cross over the ocean because of his power.
- 18. Hanuman located Sita in the garden of Ravana. When the guards wandered away, Hanuman took the chance to give the ring to Sita.
- 19. Hanuman jumped from roof to roof of the city of Lanka, and set it on fire. Then Hanuman went home.
- 20. The engineer monkey build a bridge so Rama and the monkey army could crossed the ocean. The bridge was made for 5 days.
