Cancer patient gets Rs. 3 lakh from PM’s relief fund

Mallireddy Sridhar Reddy, a native of Kaluvai, who has been suffering from cancer, has been extended financial support of Rs. 3 lakh from the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.

Nellore MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy has represented the case resulting in the Prime Minister’s Office giving clearance for the same. Mr. Reddy said that the PMO had sent letters to his office and also to the beneficiary’s residence regarding the financial help.

Mallireddy Sridhar Reddy, son of Srinivasulu Reddy, has been receiving treatment at the Vellore’s Christian Medical College (CMC). Owing to lack of required financial background, the family found it difficult to get medical support till now.
