Pamma's father Amrik Singh and mother Rattan Kaur showed the documents and pictures of their elder son Parminder Singh, who they alleged was extra-judicially killed by police in Punjab in 1991, and requested the Portuguese authorities to send Pamma to his family in UK.
"Paramjeet Singh, who had never been to India since 1999, has been falsely implicated in conspiracy to commit murder and bombings in 2009-10. However, the UK government in 2010-11, after thorough investigation, found no evidence of any criminal activity against Paramjeet Singh," said that letter submitted to the Ministry.
