The Special Investigations Unit has been called after a man in Woodstock was hurt during an investigation into a stolen vehicle Saturday morning.
Police say the man had a previous hand injury that was re-injured, but it is described as minor.
The incident happened at the Quality Hotel and Suites on Bruin Boulevard when police attempted to arrest a 26-year-old man inside the vehicle.
The SIU has assigned three investigators to the case.
