BMC officials asked to identify social amenities

Taking the revision work of the BMC draft Development Plan (DP) 2034 a step further, ward officials across the city have been asked to identify social amenities like homeless shelters, old age homes and multi-purpose housing for women in their respective areas. They have been directed to fill and submit to the DP department a sheet which mentions the existing social amenities in their areas and what proposed new social amenities too.

Mumbai: Taking the revision work of the BMC draft Development Plan (DP) 2034 a step further, ward officials across the city have been asked to identify social amenities like homeless shelters, old age homes and multi-purpose housing for women in their respective areas. They have been directed to fill and submit to the DP department a sheet which mentions the existing social amenities in their areas and what proposed new social amenities too.
The revision of the draft DP which began in April 2015 has so far already completed rectifying the erroneous designations and also the road survey.
