Andrea in Dhanush's Vada Chennai

Recently we reported that actress Samantha will be playing a role of a slum dweller in Vetri Maaran's upcoming film, Vada Chennai. Now, we hear that singer-turned-actress Andrea Jeremiah, who was last seen in Kamal Haasan's Uttama Villain, has been roped in for a pivotal role in this gangster film. Rumours were that Andrea will be playing a sex worker in the film, and that her role will be completely different.
However when we contacted director Vetri Maaran to confirm this news, he said, 'It's true that Andrea is there in the film, but the reports about what her role is are false.' Sources say that the film is about a gangster's life and deals with betrayal and vengeance. The team is currently on a look out for one more actress apart from Samantha and Andrea.
