Darren Holden: Gateshead sign former Hartlepool defender

Gateshead have signed Darren Holden on a deal until the end of the season, subject to international clearance.
The South Africa-born defender came through the Hartlepool youth setup, making his senior debut in April 2011 against Tranmere Rovers.
The 22-year-old moved to Ross County last summer but was recently allowed to depart the Scottish club.
Holden will be eligible to make his Gateshead debut in the National League game at Dover Athletic on 13 February.
