Report: Over $40,000 in Super Bowl tickets stolen from hotel
Over $40,000 worth of Super Bowl tickets were reportedly stolen from a San Francisco hotel on Friday.
Over $40,000 worth of Super Bowl tickets were stolen from a San Francisco hotel on Friday, reports Heather Holmes of Bay Area TV station KTVU.
Police told Holmes that four men entered a conference room inside Hotel Nikko and took the tickets for Sunday’s game between the Broncos and Panthers at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.
According to USA Today, StubHub’s average ticket price for the game as of Thursday was $4,879, its highest price since at least 2007. The lowest price on StubHub as of Saturday around Noon ET was $2,669 for an upper endzone corner seat.
The Broncos and Panthers face off in Super Bowl 50 at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
