Alappuzha/T'puram: BJP state president Kumma nam Raja sekharan has said that the UDF government made governor P Sathisavam present its election manifesto in the form of governor's address to the assembly on Friday. He told reporters in Alappuzha on the sidelines of his Vimochana Yatra that it was not fair on the part of the government.
“The UDF is trying to make political gains through the governor's address.
It did not have anything that brought hopes to the people; it was just an eye-wash for turning the political situation favou rable to the UDF. It has left people disappointed,“ he said BJP former president V Muraleedharan also said in a statement that the governor's address was just a series of hollow announcements on election eve. He also said the government was trying to boast about its tenure by projecting projects being funded by the Union government.
Kummanam meets Vellappally:
Rajasekharan called on SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan at the latter's residence on Friday morning and discussed about the BJP-BDJS alliance for assembly election.
He told reporters later that more discussions would be held in this connection after his yatra concluded on February 15.
