Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Feb 5 2016 8:47PM NDRF conducts familiarisation exercisePuducherry, Feb 5(UNI): In a bid to create awareness among students on the dos and don’t’s in the event of natural disaster like floods,tsunami and building collapse, the NDRF, Arakonam unit conducted “familiarisation exercise” in schools, nursing colleges and police training schools here. Talking to newspersons here, NDRF Inspector Rama Rao, who is leading a 17-member team, said the exercise is meant to create awareness among school children and so on, about how to save oneself in emergency situations and how to save others and also in minimising the loss of life.
