Vidarbha vs Saurashtra

Left-arm seamer Jaydev Unadkat picked up four wickets in the second innings to bowl Vidarbha out for 139 after Tea on day 3, giving Saurashtra a huge win by an innings and 85 runs. His second innings figures took his match haul to nine as he picked up five in the first innings. Saurashtra reached the Ranji Trophy semi-finals for the first time in three years.

Wasim Jaffer top-scored with 48 as the side lost regular wickets ever since they resumed the day at 17 for no loss. Umesh Yadav, who picked five wickets in the first innings, didn't come out to bat due to an injury.

Brief scores:Vidarbha 151 (Wasim Jaffer 41, Jaydev Unadkat 5-70, Hardik Rathod 2-28) and 139 (Wasim Jaffer 48, Jaydev Unadkat 4-35, Deepak Punia 3-32) lost to Saurashtra 375 (Sagar Jogiyani 130, Sheldon Jackson 122, Umesh Yadav 5-81) by an innings and 85 runs.

Assam vs Punjab

This contest is heading for an exciting finish as Punjab will head into the fourth day needing 64 runs to win. But Assam will fancy their chances since they need only two more wickets.

Assam began the day at 23 for four and were soon bowled out for 101. Arup Das scored a quick-fire 31 and then came back to wreck Punjab with the ball, picking up six wickets. Gurkeerat Singh made 64 but fell at the wrong time. For Punjab, Barinder Sran picked up five wickets and Siddharth Kaul took four.

Brief scores:Assam 323 and 101 (Arup Das 31, Barinder Sran 5-31, Siddharth Kaul 4-25) lead Punjab 137 and 224 for 8 (Gurkeerat Singh 64, Mayank Siddana 43, Arup Das 6-82) by 63 runs.

Bengal vs Madhya Pradesh

Madhya Pradesh have completely batted Bengal out of the game and are on the brink of entering the semi-finals. Rajat Patidar registered his third ton in five matches, sharing fruitful partnerships with Naman Ojha and Devendra Bundela.

Ashok Dinda and Sayan Mondal started off the day in great fashion, removing the openers, but from then on it was all Madhya Pradesh as their intentions were clear, considering their approach. Rajat was finally dismissed by Manoj Tiwary before the close of play. Madhya Pradesh lead by 565 and might declare tomorrow morning.

Brief scores:Madhya Pradesh 348 and 338 for 5 (Rajat Patidar 137, Devendra Bundela 72, Sayan Mandal 1-27) lead Bengal 121 by 565 runs.

Jharkhand vs Mumbai

Mumbai have edged closer to the semi-finals after setting Jharkhand a target of 490 to win. At the end of day 3, Jharkhand were 28 for one as they lost Anand Singh. After getting bundled out for 172 in the first innings, things look bleak for them heading into day 4.

Earlier, Shreyas Iyer struck a majestic 81 off just 106 balls to lead Mumbai to 245. He found support in the form of Abhishek Nayar who struck 43. Samar Quadri picked 5 wickets for Jharkhand.

Brief scores:Mumbai 416 and 245 (Shreyas Iyer 81, Abhishek Nayar 43, Samar Quadri 5-62) lead Jharkhand 172 and 28 for 1 (Iqbal Abdullah 1-11) by 461 runs.
