Ghana international Sulley Muntari scored in a second consecutive game when his Al Ittihad side played Al Raed in the Saudi league on Thurday.
The former AC Milan and Inter Milan player who scored the only goal in Ittihad's win against Najran once again found the back of the net in an eight-goal thriller against Al Raed.
Abdulrahman Al Ghamdi opened the scoring after 18 minutes of play before Lucian Sanmartean, Gelmin Rivas and Fahad Al Muwallad added for Al Ittihad who were playing at home to go 4-0 up.
Marcos Pizzelli pulled on back for away side Al Raed before going into the first half interval.
Sulley Muntari and Mukhtar Fallatah scored in additional minute for Al Ittihad with Marcos Pizzelli adding a late consolation for his side before the end of the game.
The 6-2 win for Muntari's side takes them to 32 points after 15 games, third on the league table.
The Ghanaian midfielder played in the entire duration of the game for his Al Ittihad side.
