Bangalore Naatkal quick movie review: Arya, Bobby Simha and Rana Daggubati's friendship saga is HILARIOUS but not as good as the original.

Bangalore Naatkal is the official remake of the super hit Malayalam film, Bangalore Days. It stars Arya, Bobby Simha, Sri Divya and Rana Daggubati in the lead roles.Our critic, H Shivkumar is currently watching the film and here's what he has to say... "When Bangalore Days came out, it captured the imagination of youngsters all around the country. The fun and light-hearted nature of the movie inspired many. So remaking such a great movie in Tamil was an obvious choice and that choice is Bangalore Naatkal. It is a story of three cousins who are also best friends- Kannan, Divya and Arjun. While Divya and Kannan are good and obedient, Arjun is the family rebel, asking questions and landing in trouble. Divya gets married to Prasad, played by Rana Daggubati and they move to Bangalore. At the same time, Kannan lands a job in Bangalore too. Arjun also joins the two and the trio have fun in the city. The acting by the entire cast is good. Bobby Simha rocks as Kannan aka Kutty and Arya also plays his character well. Of course, one does not even have to say that Rana is simply awesome as Prasad. Perhaps the only character lacking in performance is Sri Divya. The first half is filled with jokes, fun and games but takes on a more serious note towards the interval.

While the story begins in a light manner, it soon becomes evident that everything is not fun and games. Each cousin faces a unique set of problems that they must overcome. Each character has their own demons and fears that they must now conquer. Looks like the latter half will be very interesting."
