Warangal: A local court on Thursday granted conditional bail to former MP Siricilla Rajaiah. The senior Congress leader was arrested on November 4 last year in connection with the alleged self immolation of his daughter-in-law Sarika and three grandsons.Rajaiah's wife Madhavi and son Anil were also granted bail. However, the bail plea of Anil's second wife Sana was rejected.

On November 4, 2015, Sarika along with her three kids Abhinav, Ayan and Sriyan, died in a blaze. Sarika allegedly burnt herself along with her sons by turning on the gas in their kitchen and lighting a fire at Rajaiah's house in Hanamkonda. Following the incident, Siricilla Rajaiah, his wife Madhavi, son Anil and Anil's second wife Sana were arrested.
Rajaiah, who was nominated by the Congress as its candidate for the Warangal Lok Sabha byelection slated for November 21 last year, was replaced by former Union minister Sarve Satyanarayana.
