3 NSCN-K cadres held in Tirap district

Itanagar: Security forces have nabbed three NSCN(K) cadres in the adjoining jungles of Laju and Noglo in Arunachal's Tirap district.
The troops of 1st Assam Rifles on Wednesday caught hold of the cadres, along with arms and ammunition, after a 96 hour- long search operation, battling inclement weather, officials said here. Initially, only one ultra was caught in the jungles of Kollam and on his tipoff, his two accomplices were apprehended subsequently in the Kollam and the Noglo area.
The cadres have been identified as Alon Wangsa (28), a resident of Nginu, Kommen Kanglon (30) of Tutnyu and Napong Kangnong (19) from Noglo village.
One AK-47 automatic assault rifle, a 9 mm carbine machine gun and one 7.65 mm revolver along with a huge quantity of ammunition, pouches and extortion notes were seized from them, a source said.
