    Yadav Singh reportedly admits to links with top Samajwadi Party leaders

    Investigations by CBi has also revealed that Singh and his family have made huge investments in Hitchki creations private Ltd, Ultratech Private Ltd and Garima creations.

    NEW DELHI: Suspended NOIDA authority engineer Yadav Singh during his questioning reportedly admitted his links the top leaders of the ruling Samajwadi Party (SP) in Uttar Pradesh. Singh, who was taken on six day CBI remand, also told his interrogators that he also knew several leaders of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) when Mayawati was the chief minister.
    CBI said that they have so far identified 39 properties that include residential houses, agricultural land and factory premises belonging to Yadav Singh and his family members Kusumlatha, Garima Bhushan and Sunny Yadav. These premises are in Noida, Agra, Jewar and Aligarh. Interestingly, the agency also found that one of the rooms at his palatial house at sector 51 in NOIDA was extension of NOIDA authority where the tenders were “fixed”

    “The documents seized from one of the secret room of the house suggest that it was being used to hold tender meetings and fixing the award of contracts and sub contracts,” said a CBI official requesting anonymity. Both CBI and IT department have started completed the process of valuations of 4 properties out of six. Their value is said to be more than 100 crores.

    The four properties that have been evaluated so far include the palatial house at sector 51, sector 27 at Noida. Two other residential premises at sector 66 and sector 63 have also been evaluated.

    Investigations by CBi has also revealed that Singh and his family have made huge investments in Hitchki creations private Ltd, Ultratech Private Ltd and Garima creations. Sunny Yadav who is also working at Greater Noida authority was reportedly one of director of Ultratech.

    From the bank accounts, the agency also concluded that Singh and his family have also made large investments in Chahat technology Private Ltd, New Era Software Private Ltd, Quick Infotech Private Ltd. CBI is probing several other companies. CBI said the examination of Singh may likely to result in more revelations including his business links, beneficiaries who were allegedly involved in bribery.

    The agency said Singh was arrested as he was evasive during examination and could not explain some new evidence presented before him. He is facing two separate CBI cases - amassing disproportionate assets and high-level corruption in awarding contracts.
