AAP Toronto Chapter Organized Punjab 2017 Campaign Kick Off Event

Aam Aadmi Party Toronto volunteer group organized a campaign kick off event for Punjab 2017 elections on Saturday, Jan 30th at Royal Banquet Hall.

AAP Toronto volunteer group used this opportunity to launch calendar for year 2016. Each page showcase achievements of AAP Delhi governance and Information about AAP leaders. Avtar Brar owner of Micro Printing, who is AAP volunteer did all the printing of calendars for free of cost. The idea of calendar launch was from one of the AAP Toronto volunteer group Syed Hasan Ziaya.

Jaskirat Mann, AAP Canada Convener , addressed the gathering via google hangout and appealed for whatever contribution is possible from NRIs to AAP Punjab.

Joban Randhawa, Media Advisor of Mr H S Phoolka was also present at the event who briefed audience regarding Mr Phoolka’s upcoming and most anticipated trip to Canada.

Senior AAP Leader Mr Sukhpal Singh Khaira who joined via google hangout addressed the crowd and talked about the ideologies of Aam Aadmi Party. He also answered questions from media. He encouraged people to walk on the paths laid by those great people to make Punjab Corruption free by joining AAP. He highlighted few of the achievements of AAP Delhi governance.

Local artists Rabia Sagoo, Baljit Sandhu, Ravinder Singh Lohi, Ajmer Randhawa and Sukhraj Nijjar also performed at the event.

This event was organized by Pall Badwal, Avtar Brar, Surinder Mavi, Sumesh Handa,HS Somal, Mathura Prasad, Akshthal Kalia, Sudeep Singla with support of other AAP Toronto volunteers Tejender SIDHU, Rupinder Uppal(MasterJi), Rupinder Grewal(Rimpy), Jagdev Mankoo, Sohan Dhindsa and Surinder Johal.

This event got huge support from prominent South Asian community leaders.

Mr Pall Badwal and retired Prof Mr Jagir Singh Kahlon were master of ceremonies for the event.

There was huge presence of media at the event and volunteers were seen interacting with the media.

AAP Toronto Chapter used this opportunity to sign new volunteers for AAP Toronto unit as well
