The owner of a  townhouse used as a “shabu” laboratory where Lt. Col. Ferdinand Marcelino was arrested will be summoned today (Friday) to explain her side in the high profile case.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said a certain May Co, reportedly the owner of the townhouse unit, had been asked to appear before the authorities.

Also summoned was a certain Hydee Uy,  registered owner of the silver Toyota Camry driven by Marcelino’s fellow accused, Yan Yi Shuo, the night they were arrested.

“If May Co fails to explain her side, we will also charge her with conspiracy to manufacture illegal drugs,” PDEA Director General Arturo Cacdac Jr. told reporters on Thursday.

Marcelino and Yan were arrested on Jan. 21 inside Co’s townhouse, where 76 kilos of shabu worth more than P300 million were seized.
