Celebrity Big Brother 2016: Gemma Collins Dumps Her Jailbird Boyfriend

Yikes, it seems as though no relationship is strong enough to survive Celebrity Big Brother 2016.

Despite Gemma Collins announcing to her housemates that she was looking forward to seeing her boyfriend, Stephen Mortimer, when she was evicted on Tuesday night, the former TOWIE star has now revealed that she has dumped her beau.

Gemma, who has been in the Big Brother house for the past three weeks, broke down in tears on the Loose Women panel earlier today as she revealed how “embarrassed” she was to discover that Stephen had been imprisoned during her time in the house.

The jailbird had been released from prison for GBH last year but returned to his cell after breaking the terms of his bail conditions last month.

When Gem was asked about her love life on the ITV talent show, she explained: “I don’t want to talk about that. I came out the house… god this is so embarrassing.

"Obviously a situation has happened and I’m just not ready to talk about it right now. I think people forget I’m just a normal girl and I do have problems with my love life. Forget him.”

As well as discovering that Stephen was in prison upon her CBB exit, Gemma was also left heartbroken to find out that he had allegedly cheated on her with a young mother-of-one.

Rachel Smith claimed during Gemma’s time in the house: “He is desperate to be famous and is only using Gemma for her celebrity status. I was devastated to find out that he was two-timing us. I feel used.”

We bet Gemma wishes that she was back in the Channel 5 house!
