Kashmir Economic Alliance (KEA) Chairman, Showkat Ahmad Choudhary Thursday hailed the stand of PDP president, Mehbooba Mufti over government formation in the state and appealed central government to fulfill the promises made with the people here.In a statement issued to KNS, Choudhary said that the people gave mandate to PDP for the return the power project, to rehabilitate the flood victims of 2014 and other developmental issues.

“One of the reasons of PDP’s joining hands with BJP was to rehabilitate the flood victims but unfortunately BJP backtracked from their promises,” he said.He said that after the PDP-BJP government took over, BJP failed in every aspect mainly in rehabilitating the flood hit people of the state. “The setting of conditions before BJP over forming dispensation in the state is a welcoming step and the same has proven that PDP is not power hungry but is working for the welfare of Kashmiris,” he said.“I appeal Mehbooba Mufti to be firm on her stand and KEA will always support her,” he said.
