Solar CDs will be verified, says Chandy

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief minister Oommen Chandy on Wednesday said there would be an inquiry at an appropriate time to verify veracity of CDs submitted to the judicial commission by Solar Scam accused Saritha S Nair that allegedly contains her conversations with Congress leaders Thampanoor Ravi and Benny Behanan.
He said CPM was worried about the increasing popularity of the UDF government.
“CPM is silent on the allegation that the party had offered Rs 10 crore to Biju Radhakrishnan. If they can deny it, then what is wrong in me denying allegations against me,“ Chandy said after the cabinet meeting. Chandy said people, who are aware of the recent developments, will decide what is right or wrong.
He reiterated that there was no evidence to prove that any help was given by the government to Team Solar.
