Former Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Raj Narasimha has been named overall coordinator of the Congress party for the byelection to the Narayanakhed Assembly constituency.
TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy in a release said others drafted for poll campaign included Zaheerabad MLA J. Geetha Reddy (Mannur mandal), P. Sashidhar Reddy (Narayanakhed mandal), Sunitha Laxma Reddy (Peddashankarampet mandal), D. Sridhar Babu and Gangaram (Kangti mandal) and T. Jayaprakash Reddy and Dr. Sravan Kumar Reddy (Kalher mandal).
